WI Centenary Page

In November 2017 the craft group created a page representing our group which is to be added to the WI centenary book that will go on display at various locations as it travels around the UK.  All members of the Bexleyheath and Crayford Waterside WI contributed using their fingerprints as leaves on the tree.CentenaryBook2CentenaryBook

Every piece of fabric has been donated by our members. Fabric remnants are all from homemade items: bridesmaid dresses, curtains and dresses for granddaughters and a bag made at Denman. Repurposed items: Step-Dad's shirts, scarves including a wool scarf and quilting squares. All buttons from members button boxes. Resulting in one up-cycled cushion, as shown.

Jar BolaJarbola

Recently a member sought inspiration to try something new with the raffle.  A variation of tombola; just fill an empty jar with something fun, interesting or just handy. All you need is a lucky dip in the bag for a raffle ticket ending in a '5' or a '0' to win one of the jars. A fun evening was had, and we raised funds for our group.
