Welcome to Bexleyheath & Crayford Waterside WI.

Bexleyheath & Crayford Waterside WI was formed in 1973.

The WI is the largest voluntary women’s organisation in the UK. The WI plays a unique role in providing women with educational opportunities and the chance to build new skills, to take part in a wide variety of activities and to campaign on issues that matter to them and their communities.

We are a friendly group of ladies with diverse backgrounds and age range. Our members are interested in all types of craft, food and cookery, the arts and horticulture.

Our monthly meetings consist of a talk, a demonstration, an activity or some entertainment. This is followed by a short break where our ladies can enjoy tea and biscuits or cake with time to socialize with other members. We then have the opportunity to talk about forthcoming events, outings and other planned activities.
